Ani Vakian
received her undergraduate degree from the
University of California, Los Angeles in 1999. She became an
associate at the firm after receiving her law degree from the
University of Southern California in 2002. She has since
practiced in the areas of water rights, business litigation, and
property transactions. She is currently involved in water law
litigation pending before the United States Supreme Court,
assisting with extensive research, and briefing.
Mrs.Vakian oversaw the conveyance of thousands of acres
of property pursuant to the terms of a settlement
agreement which the firm successfully negotiated on behalf
of a group of California farmers. She has also handled corporate formation and transactional
matters, and has participated in suits in areas such as environmental contamination, Superfund
(Operating Industries, Inc.), and regulatory takings. Download Version
